mushimeganebooks., also known as Misa Kumabuchi, creates ceramics themed around people and sound.
A quiet, soft presence that effortlessly blends into daily life.
Yet, meticulous thickness and form born from solid technique and sensibility.
Her archive, growing year by year as she pursues more functional pieces, reveals the passion within Kumabuchi.
This year’s collection features pieces with diverse expressions, ranging from pale hues to deep, rich colors.
One of the exhibition’s true delights is rediscovering the joy of carefully comparing each piece’s unique differences, selecting subtle nuances in color and form, and creating combinations—much like turning the pages of a book.

静かで柔らかく、暮らしにすっと溶け込む佇まい
その一方で、確かな技術とセンスから生み出される細やかな厚みや形状
より使い良い作品を追い求めることで年々増えていくアーカイブからは熊淵さんのうちに秘めた情熱を感じます。
今年も淡い色から深みのある色まで、さまざまな表情の作品が揃いました。
ページを捲るように、ひとつひとつの違いを丁寧に見比べながら、色や形の微細なニュアンスを選び、組み合わせる楽しさを改めて体感できるのも今回の展示の醍醐味です。
